1. Services we provide

SETUVAN connects hotel guests with verified local merchants and curated digital content for Ujjain and surrounding areas. Depending on how you use the Platform, this may include:

• Hotel guest bazaar — hotel-scoped offers from local shops, accessed via your hotel's unique link or QR code.
• Setu Mudra discount — promotional hotel savings that guests may apply toward eligible offers during their stay, subject to campaign rules and expiry.
• Audiobook library — paid or partiallyMudra discount-funded access to curated audio guides, processed via PhonePe or your stay discount balance where available.
• Merchant hub — tools for verified merchants to manage KYC, campaigns, and guest offer redemptions.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. Guest sign-in may use Google or email magic link. Merchants may sign in with Google or other methods we enable. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access credentials secure.

3. Guest offers and Mudra discount

• Offers shown in a hotel bazaar are provided by independent merchants. SETUVAN displays campaigns but does not guarantee stock, pricing at the shop counter, or merchant performance beyond what is stated on the offer card.
• Setu Mudra discount is promotional savings tied to a hotel stay. It has no cash value outside the Platform, may expire, and can only be used as described at claim time.
• Claim codes and discounts are subject to merchant verification, bill minimums, and discount caps shown before you claim.

4. Audiobook purchases

Audiobook library access is a digital service. Pricing, Mudra discount contribution limits, and cash balance due via PhonePe are shown at checkout. Once unlocked, access is linked to your signed-in account for personal, non-commercial use unless we state otherwise.

5. Merchant obligations

Merchants must provide accurate KYC and campaign information, honour valid guest claims in good faith, and comply with applicable laws. SETUVAN may suspend or remove merchants that breach these Terms or our verification standards.

6. Payments

Online payments are processed by third-party payment partners including PhonePe Payment Gateway. By paying, you also agree to the payment partner's terms where applicable. We do not store full card or UPI credentials on our servers.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Abuse offers, Mudra discount, or claim codes through fraud, automation, or multiple fake accounts.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Platform.
• Upload unlawful, misleading, or infringing content (merchants).
• Resell or redistribute audiobook files except as expressly permitted.

8. Intellectual property

SETUVAN branding, software, and audiobook recordings are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Merchant creatives remain the merchant's responsibility; merchants grant us a licence to display them on the Platform for the campaign period.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted access. Tourist information and distances are indicative; verify before travel.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SETUVAN and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from merchant disputes, travel decisions, or third-party payment failures. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim in the preceding three months.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection forums. Contact us at support@setuvan.com.
